Welcome to the Bungalows!  Cabins nestled in the Ponderosa Pines with amazing views of the Needle Spires for a relaxing getaway.

Close to local attractions

We are only 5 minutes from the town of Custer, and from Custer State Park. Mount Rushmore is a 25-minute drive, and Crazy Horse is a 10 minute drive from the Bungalows.   Wind Cave, Jewel Cave, Local Wineries, Needles Highway and many scenic drives/hikes are close to the Bungalows.

Free Wifi

Free wifi is offered at all cabins. There is a TV located in each cabin but there is no cable TV.

Plenty of hiking opportunities, biking, fishing and wildlife viewing. Daily sightings of deer and turkeys as you drive to the Bungalows.  There are lakes in Custer State Park for swimming, boating, and fishing.  Horseback riding available throughout the Black Hills.

We have four goats that love to get attention. Banana peels are their favorite snack. You may also see some very friendly cats wandering around.

The Pond

There is a lovely pond located below all of the cabins for guests to enjoy the view and feed the geese. You may also find some small fish such as crappies and bullheads.  Beautiful view of the Needle Spires looking out over the pond.

BBQ Grills and Fire Pits

Charcoal grills and fire pits are located outside at each cabin to enjoy. Wood bundles are sold by the little shed near the manager's house; the price is posted on the self-pay box.

"The people that own Black Hills Bungalow are very nice. The views are amazing outside all the cabins. There is a pond on site that you can catch fish. You can see a lot of wild life. We saw some turkey, deer, geese, and even peacocks. This is our second time staying here and we will definitely be coming back here."
